I have to admit that Facebook's Zuckerberg hasn't been on my favorites list since the Cambridge Analytica data scandal. Though seeing Zuckerberg continuing to turn a deaf ear to the left's demands of shutting out President Trump, I have to take a moment and applaud him. I grew up hearing the phrase, “I may not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll fight for your right to say it”. Whatever happened to that sentiment in American society?
If Nazism is so wrong, shouldn’t it be easy to make the case to our young people why it’s wrong? Only those who perceive that they will lose the argument, shun debate.
What is funny, is that many of those pushing the tech giants to suppress free speech would be the same people to decry the book burnings of the past. And yet, it’s the same thing. They are now advocating for the modern equivalent of book burning en masse.
