Tesla Still Killing Their Customers

7/8/2022

The Stock Price Isn’t the Only Thing Headed For a Crash
Picture
Tesla apologists love to claim that Tesla gets undue criticism when their weird crashes kill people.  They justify all the Tesla customers who’ve been barbecued alive unexpectedly as a normal risk of driving. But they conveniently try to wave off the fact that normal cars don’t just burst into flames while sitting in a garage in the middle of the night. Nor do they hit the brakes unexpectedly while driving 80mph or take rest area off-ramps and slam into trucks at full speed.
Check this article out about two people who’ve died in their Tesla as it took an off ramp and slammed into a semi-truck. Sad. And to think that some of these customers buy a Tesla because they’ve been told that a Tesla is safer than other cars. Nobody really knows what happened to these two ladies. For some reason, their Tesla plowed into a truck at full speed with no attempt to slow down. There were no skid marks whatsoever. It could be an autopilot malfunction, brake malfunction or unintended acceleration. In any case, it looks bad for Tesla. Not that you’ll ever hear about it.

A lot of people figure that if Tesla was killing their customers that they’d hear about it in the news. That is such a wrong notion. Tesla is burning more people alive than Al Qaeda but you’re not hearing about it. Outside of obscure local news websites, the larger media outlets just ignore all of the people killed by their Tesla.  Why?

First, Tesla lawyers are aggressively waving non-disclosure agreements around in exchange for help from Tesla. People involved in these accidents are forbidden from posting on social media or talking to the press.

Second, a lot of the press believes that they shouldn’t scare the public from making the transition to “clean” electric cars. They don’t really want people to know how many people are dying in Teslas that spontaneously brake, stall while driving, or slam into trucks. We know this is true because the court system is chock full of lawsuits from victims who are suing Tesla. And yet, not much of it ever hits the mainstream news.

I’ve been warning about the stock price crashing for a while now.  But the same warning goes for the people who want to drive a Tesla.  The accident I’m writing about today is just the tip of the iceberg. Accidents like this happen almost every day. Stay away from Tesla, crashes are killing people.
