Who knows how bad Tesla would have really scored if the Tesla owners were actually honest. But they aren't really fooling anyone. Wander into any circle of car guys talking about cars and the topic of Tesla quickly turns into all the glitches and fit and finish problems on these relatively expensive cars. Even many honest Tesla owners openly admit they only bought an EV from Tesla so that they could have access to the charge network because the car sucks. I suppose as the non-Tesla charge network quickly ramps up, they'll lose these kind of customers.
The weird thing about Tesla that is different from other car makers is that they never seem to improve. Other car makers will typically learn from their mistakes and rectify them in later models. But Tesla seems to stay just as bad if not get worse as time goes on. Even by new model standard though, the Model Y was an absolute dumpster fire quality-wise. According to Consumer Reports, there isn't much improvement.
