Russian hacking is a problem, but it’s eclipsed by the unwillingness of the DNC to let the voters decide on their own nominee. The DNC had to put their thumb on the scale and help channel the outcome. And they chose a weak nominee with corruption problems who believes rules are for little people. What did they expect their voters to do?
This is a big deal. Because if Bernie Sanders had been nominated, he probably would have beaten Donald Trump. Bernie was hugely popular with the blue-collar crowd. Also, a lot of the Republicans who held their noses to vote for Trump did so mainly because Hillary was so corrupt. A lot of these voters may have switched to Sanders.
Democratic voters were cheated on by their leadership. I don’t blame the DNC for raising hell about Vladimir Putin. They are trying to deflect attention away from their guilt in this loss. The DNC played dirty with their own members and got caught red-handed. Now they’re doing everything they can to shift the spotlight to the Russians. Otherwise, the villagers will be on their doorstep with pitchforks and torches. The question is whether this diversion will work.
